History:
The band was formed in 1999 in Huntington Beach, California with original members M. Shadows, Zacky Vengeance, The Rev and Matt Wendt. M Shadows came up with the name as a reference to the story of Cain and Abel from The Bible, although they are not a religious band. Upon its formation, each member of the band also took on a pseudonym which were already nicknames of theirs from high school.
Avenged Sevenfold's debut album, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, was recorded when the band members were just eighteen years old and in high school.It was originally released on their first label, Good Life Recordings in 2001

Death of the leader "The Rev":

In January, 2009, M. Shadows confirmed that the band had started producing his fifth album of study.
In an interview, M. Shadows revealed that after the band was completing his tour in Sonisphere's Festival, on August 2, they were entering the study to compose and to record a new album of study, a follow-up of his homonymous disc.
On December 24, 2009 one announced that Avenged Sevenfold had come in the second place in Finalize Your Guitar Top Have of bands of the decade, losing the first position before Metallica.
On December 28, 2009, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan was found dead man in his house

tattooes

Jose: The tattooes for my sound a form of expression that the persons have to express his opinions, you criticize and annoyances to some authority or simply to the parents.
 I find to this an art and find it very beautiful but in extreme cases where there are persons who do not measure the standards and they paint the whole body what it provokes in some cases you re-boast social and  Isolation.
At my opinion the tattooes are good but not at excess, also there are cases where this provokes that many persons do not find work through the fault of which the companies do not find the good tattooes for the image of his companies what produces an exaltation and this one is my opinion. thank you



 Eymont: The tattooes to my it looks like a sound very new and aesthetic. The tattooes were and they are very transcendentes across the history of the human being, already as symbol of power or authority in former civilizations.
 The tattoo is like a "article" which is permanent in our body, some persons it uses them in his body as form of worship, others use it as way of expressing before the company but jointly to be tattooed it imposes responsibility and decision.
 I personally would put on a tattoo always and when I was representing something important in my life.
